Snow foam and pre-washes help soften and remove dirt from your vehicles paintwork before commencing with a contact wash
To ensure your paintwork stays in the best condition, snow foam and pre-wash treatments are essential. Snow foams are usually applied using a jet wash and snow foam lance, or a pressure sprayer bottle and are the first step you should take when washing your car. They work by loosening and softening the dirt on your vehicle which the enables you to jet wash the majority of dirt from the vehicle before you use a wash mitt. This ensures that less dirt is trapped in your wash mitt and worked into the paintwork causing swirls and light scratches.
Pre-wash cleansers and APC’s can be applied prior to snow foam for more intensely soiled vehicles and can often be diluted down to ensure any protection on the car is not washed away. APC’s are perfect for winter months when the car gains a layer of grit and salt from the roads.
